How much does it cost to ship an item on Cyclem?

Question

Shipping fees are not charged by Cyclem itself but by the delivery service chosen by the buyer at the time of purchase. They are always displayed before payment so that the buyer can make an informed decision.

Swiss Relay (pickup points)

With Swiss Relay, delivery fees are fixed based on the parcel format.

Current Swiss Relay rates

Format S (up to 2 kg – 45 × 25 × 5 cm): CHF 4.95
Format M (up to 10 kg – 60 × 30 × 20 cm): CHF 6.95

If the format, weight, or dimensions of the parcel are incorrectly declared, Swiss Relay may apply a price adjustment.

The difference may be deducted directly from the amount paid to the seller, and penalties may be applied in case of repeated offenses.

Swiss Post (standard shipping with home label printing)

If the buyer chooses Swiss Post as the shipping method, the cost depends on the weight and the postal service selected.

According to Swiss Post's public rates for domestic shipments:

In-person handover

Cost: free
No shipping fees apply if the buyer chooses an in-person handover.
The meeting and exchange of the item are the responsibility of the seller and the buyer.

Who pays the shipping fees?

Shipping fees are paid by the buyer (unless otherwise agreed between users).
The seller never pays the shipping fees.
The shipping cost is visible before each purchase, and the buyer must confirm it.
